COLORADO ATV RENTALS

First Time Riders – Most of our guests are riding ATVs and Side by Sides for the first time ever and have a great time. We give everyone instruction on how to operate the ATVs and Side by Sides. We encourage everyone to ask questions until they feel comfortable. Our ATVs and Side by Sides have automatic transmissions and power steering. Power steering makes steering much easier, especially for first time riders. First time riders should take it easy. Going slow when cornering is very important until your ability improves.

PARK & RIDE
You will drive your ATV or Side-by-side right from our outpost where you meet us and park your car. Unlike our competitors, you don’t need to pay for transportation time.

GUIDED TOURS & UNGUIDED RENTALS

The Wolford Mountain Recreation Area is an offroad riders dream come true with amazing views and a diverse trail system with over 120 miles of trails, ranging from beginner to expert. There is something for you here. The free Avenza GPS app on your phone is an excellent way to navigate the trail system. Be sure to take your ATV to the top of Lil Wolford Mountain to see multiple mountain ranges and vast expanses of the continental divide. On the north end of the Wolford Mountain Recreation Area, you may also park your ATV and hike into the fossil site to catch a glimpse of the well preserved tropical and subtropical mollusk fossils.

The Kremmling Cretaceous Ammonite Locality takes people back in time, with the worlds highest concentration of such fossils. We recommend a 3 hour ride to see the fossils. Locals insight, this area has a warm and dry micro-climate, meaning when it is cold and rainy in the surrounding areas like Breckenridge, it very likely to be warm and sunny here. You will meet us at the outpost LOCATED 39 MINUTES NORTH OF SILVERTHORNE and ride your ATV or Side-by-Side from the outpost.

  • You must be at least 18 to reserve a guided tour. Guided Tours do not require a hold/preauthorization on a credit card.

If you do not want to take responsibility for another driver, have that driver make his or her own separate reservation and use his/her credit card.

Most of our renters drive responsibly and have a great time without causing damage to the equipment or having an accident. It is important to drive responsibly as you and your passengers can be seriously injured or die in an accident.

ATVs and Side by Sides are easy to damage, especially if you are attempting high risk maneuvers such as high speed cornering, drifting, or donuts.  Both the renter and driver are responsible to pay for any damages that the driver causes plus any loss of rent while the unit is broken and any recovery costs.

We require that each driver on a unguided rental have a $1000 hold/preauthorization on a major credit card to rent the machine.

We highly recommend that renters and drivers purchase insurance from their insurance broker. Repair costs can be in the thousands of dollars.
